Between April 2020-September 2021, the Mass Redistribution Fund raised $900,000 for grassroots-led COVID relief efforts across the state.

Advisory Board
The Mass Redistribution Fund is governed by an Advisory Board of community leaders from Massachusetts. They came together across issues and geography to help unite our communities in this time of crisis.
Among other responsibilities, the Advisory Board nominates and vets all recipient groups and will allocate funds according to criteria collectively developed by Board members.

Bethany Li
Senior Attorney leading the Asian Outreach Unit at Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS), which supports movement building in the Asian American community and provides bilingual, culturally sensitive legal representation to help poor Asian immigrants secure the basic necessities of life – food, shelter, income and safety.

The Mass Redistribution Fund is hosted by the Center for Economic Democracy (CED), a Boston based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. CED provides fiscal sponsorship and administrative support to multiple social justice funds with over $5 million in philanthropic and investment assets under management.
